Fine Arts-diefined types of music. Mass, motet, oratorio, opera, cantata, concerto, sonata, suite, symphony. Defined homophony, monophony, and polyphony.

1. Reviewed media and looked at characteristics in famous paintings. 
2. Assigment: Define elements of art in own words, pick a painting for each term and explain how the element is used.

AP EURO

1. Reviewed characteristics of the Renaissance
2. Talked about why the Renaissance started in Italy
3. Discussed the Medici

Pre College US

1. Finished Group DBQ on Spanish exploration
2. Discussed documents to to what they can tell us about Spanish exploration.

August 9th

FINE ARTS: Discussed media and found examples in the text book.

AP European: Reviewed Plague DBQ and Wrote answer in groups to Renaissance thought DBQ.  Test over important dates on quia

Pre AP US: Assigned text books.  Got in groups and began work on Spanish exploration DBQ.  This was to practice writing a DBQ.
