Fine Arts Baroque
I will give you a topic. You are to get into groups of three. This MUST be finished today! We present tomorrow and Thursday. You are to make a PowerPoint presentation.
Include ONE slide with background information such as: Date of Birth, where he lived, what he is known for.
Find 3 examples of you artist/composer's work. Analyze that work using the Baroque characteristics of Tension, Contrast, Ornamentation, and Energy.
IF you have a composer then you must play music and describe as above.
Pick ONE comparable work from the Renaissance and compare and contrast to ONE Baroque work.
Save to S or N drive.

World Civ Post WW1 take home essay test.
This is an extensive post WW1 essay. Be sure to address ALL PARTS of the question. Best advice is a paragraph for each point asked of you. If you ask yourself “is this long enough” it may not be. There is no length requirement; whatever it takes to answer the question.
Background:
It can be argued that the Treaty of Versailles was a major factor in pushing Europe into the Second World War. Each country in Europe was affect by the treaty and its enforcement.
Question:
Explain the Role of the Treaty of Versailles in post WW1 Germany, Japan, and Italy. How did the treaty fail to solve the basic causes of WW1 (Militarism, Imperialism, Nationalism)? Explain the rise of dictatorships in Germany, Italy, and Japan. Be sure to relate back to the environment created by the Treaty of Versailles and its restrictions as well as the weakness of the League of Nations.
